Top 10 biggest movies of 2009 (So far).

So we are almost half way through the year and with the summer Blockbuster season nearly among us, let's see which movie's have made the big bucks so far. I've no doubt the list will have changed dramatically within a few week's but let's have a look anyway.

1.Monsters Vs. Aliens- $190,733,766
2.Fast and Furious- $152,952,195
3.X-Men Origins: Wolverine- $150,993,169
4.Star Trek- $147,645,384
5.Paul Blart: Mall Cop- $146,081,053
6.Taken- $144,540,399
7.Watchmen- $107,453,620
8.He's Just Not That Into You- $93,894,308
9.Madea Goes to Jail- $90,508,336

10.Knowing- $78,836,466

So Dreamworks Monsters vs. Aliens still reigns supreme but with Star trek and Wolverine only being on release for a week or so they will easily surpass these numbers i think. And Tom Hanks Angels & Demons will make an appearance in the top half of the chart soon judging by it's strong opening. What do you think will take the number one spot of 2009? Will Terminator Salvation be huge? or what about Night at the museum 2? can it be as successful as the original Blockbuster? We'll have to wait and see what happens.
