The first movie in the franchise, The Fast and the Furious was a sleeper hit back in 2001, directed by Rob Cohen and starring some relatively new talent including Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, Fast forward 8 year's and 2 poor sequels later ,2 fast 2 furious and Tokyo drift or something along those lines(i never watched it) and we have (in my opinion) the first true sequel to the original movie.
Fast and Furious starts of action packed literally straight away and the opening sequences were very impressive. Where the movie did lack was the plot. The plot is pretty thin . Vin diesel reprises his role as Dom Toretto who must seek revenge for the death of his girlfriend (Michelle Rodriguez) at the hands of brutal drug dealers led by Braga. This brings him face to face with the man who infiltrated his gang in the first flick, Brian O'Connor played by Paul walker (who reprises his role after ducking out of Tokyo drift), Who, would you know it, is now an F.B.I agent tracking those same drug dealers. So the pair team up. Mix some fast cars, great racing hot women and plenty of action and you have a very entertaining movie which i enjoyed thoroughly.
